Something
that rhymes with
the ones you love.

Bookdrift scores every one of its books across things that actually matter when you're picking your next read — pacing, prose style, emotional weight, how weird it gets, how much it asks of you, and plenty more. Give it a book you love and it finds the ones that feel closest. Layer on a mood, drag a few dials, or just start searching and let it drift.

The galaxy behind everything

That quiet star field behind every panel is the library. Every star is a book, placed by how it actually reads — books that feel similar end up clustered together. Bigger stars are higher-rated on Goodreads. Drag the background to spin the view and uncover new neighborhoods; scroll to zoom in. Every search and filter you run lights up its matches right inside this same sky.

Search top center

Type a title or an author. Pick a specific book, or pick an author to seed their whole body of work at once. Shift-click any result to stack it as a second seed — or a third. The dropdowns beside the search box filter by genre, era, or country, and every tag on a result card is a one-click filter too.

Moods top-right

One-click reading moods — Gothic Horror, Quiet Grief, Mind Bender, Latin Magic, and dozens more. Each one is a shortcut that pulls the whole library toward a particular feeling. Apply one on its own, layer it on a seed, or stack it on top of the dimensions panel below. Hit Shuffle to re-roll the visible presets.

Dimensions top-left

Filter by how a book feels. Set a minimum Goodreads rating, then drag any of eight taste dials — Cozy ↔ Harrowing, Spare ↔ Ornate, Accessible ↔ Demanding, and more. Each dial quietly blends several underlying scores into one simple pull. Untouched dials do nothing; only the ones you actually drag change the results.

Raw dimensions inside the dimensions panel

Below the dials, every individual score the library uses — all 48 of them, grouped into Narrative, Prose, Tone, and World — is exposed as a range slider. Reach for these when a taste dial is close but not quite right: put a floor under Prose Density, cap Violence Intensity, pin a window of Emotional Weight. Everything composes with everything above it.
